ARLENE HUTTON (pen name for Beth Lincks)…Arlene is best known for her plays Last Train to Nibroc (NY Drama League Best Play nomination), I Dream Before I Take the Stand, As It Is In Heaven, about Kentucky Shakers, and Letters to Sala. Published by Dramatists Play Service and Samuel French, her award-winning plays have been produced Off- and Off-Off-Broadway and at regional and university theaters in the US, in London, for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She was twice named the Tennessee Williams Fellow in Playwriting at Sewanee, she has served on the faculty of Fordham University, the Glen Workshop, Calvin College’s Festival of Faith and Writing and the Sewanee Writers Conference.
