John, along with his long time writing partner Kerry Lenhart, are a dynamic writing team that have written over 27 pilots for television series and created two of their own television series — Medicine Ball, an ensemble drama about medical residents in Seattle, for Fox, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, for CBS-TV. 

Over the years of their writing career they’ve worked with such Hollywood giants as Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, and David E. Kelley, to name a few. Some of their various television series are Remington Steele, MacGyver, Chicago Hope, Judging Amy, Kevin Hill, Psych, Ed, Boston Public, (for which they garnered the prestigious Peabody Award), The Glades, Make It or Break It, Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas. John recently penned his first Book-for-a-musical, Songs in the Key of David, collaborating with Andrae Crouch. John lives in Los Angeles.
