Mat’s plays include Naperville, Samuel J. and K., The Hopper Collection (Huntington Theatre Company, Magic Theatre and published by Broadway Play Publishing), The 13th of Paris (Pittsburgh’s City Theatre, Horizon Theatre in Atlanta, The Public Theatre of Maine and at Seattle Public Theatre and Warehouse Theatre in South Carolina), Thomas Repair (workshops at South Coast Rep, Geva and Huntington), The Bebop Heard in Okinawa (O’Neill Playwrights’ Conference), The Debate Over Courtney O’Connell of Columbus, Nebraska (Slant Theatre Project at P.S. 122, Cherry Lane and NY Comedy Club). Mat is co-founder of NYC’s Slant Theatre Project, serves on the board of directors for The New Harmony Project, and is an alumnus of Ars Nova Play Group & the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab.  He has been a Jerome Fellow at The Playwrights’ Center in Minneapolis. Mat’s latest play was The Royal Society of Antarctica.
